Record the session. Skip the file transfer.
Capture a language sample directly in your browser — no install, no audio app, no copying files between devices. Live waveform, pause and resume, automatic upload to the same AI transcription and metrics pipeline.
Stop the recording and ConductSpeech transcribes it, computes metrics, and hands you a draft report — all in one flow.
Built for live clinical sessions
Every detail of the recorder exists because it solves a real problem in a real SLP session.
No install, no app, no file transfer
Open ConductSpeech in any modern browser, click record, and start the session. No SALT-style desktop install, no separate audio app, no copying files between devices.
Live waveform you can actually trust
Watch the waveform as the child speaks. If the mic is muted, the line is flat. If the level is hot, you see it before the session starts. No more discovering at the end of a 20-minute sample that nothing got captured.
Pause and resume mid-session
Need a bathroom break? Hit pause, then resume — the session continues as one file. No second upload, no manual stitching, no lost minutes.
Straight into the analysis pipeline
When you stop recording, the file uploads automatically and runs through transcription, metrics, and the report generator. There's no separate "now upload your file" step.

Recording questions, answered
What browsers does this work in?
Any modern browser with MediaRecorder support — Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari (recent versions). It works on Windows, macOS, ChromeOS, and iPad. Browser-based means there's nothing to install on a school-managed laptop.
How long can I record?
Free tier records up to 10 minutes per session. Clinician, School, and Research tiers all record up to 60 minutes. The waveform is bounded by the same limit so you can see how much room you have left.
Where does the audio file live?
The recording is held in your browser until you stop, then uploaded over HTTPS to our processing pipeline. We do not retain raw audio beyond the analysis run unless you save the session for later review.
Can I use an external microphone?
Yes — any mic the browser sees is selectable. We strongly recommend an external lavalier or USB cardioid for actual clinical sessions, since laptop mics pick up keyboard noise and HVAC.
What if my internet drops mid-session?
The recording is buffered locally in the browser until you stop. A short network blip during the session doesn't lose audio — only the final upload step needs connectivity. If the upload fails, you get a chance to retry before the file is discarded.
Record your next session in the browser
Free to start. No install. No credit card. The mic test takes about ten seconds.
