Evaluation Notice

ConductSpeech is currently in early access. During the evaluation period, we strongly recommend using de-identified language samples only — no real patient names, dates of birth, or other protected health information (PHI). Use participant IDs (e.g., “P01”, “Student A”) instead.

What Data We Process

• Audio recordings — uploaded or recorded in the browser. Audio is processed through our transcription pipeline and is not retained beyond the analysis session unless you explicitly save the session.
• Text transcripts — either generated from audio or entered directly. Stored only within your saved sessions.
• Computed metrics — MLU, TTR, NDW, PGU, error patterns, narrative scores. These are derived data and contain no personally identifiable information.
• Clinical reports — AI-generated narrative reports and IEP goal suggestions. Generated on demand and stored within your session.

Third-Party Services

ConductSpeech uses the following third-party services during analysis:

• Whisper (local) — speech-to-text transcription running on our own servers. Audio is not sent to OpenAI.
• Deepgram (optional premium tier) — cloud transcription with speaker diarization. Audio is transmitted over HTTPS and processed per Deepgram's data processing terms.
• Anthropic Claude — used for clinical report generation and narrative scoring. Only computed metrics and anonymized transcript text are sent — never raw audio or patient identifiers.

HIPAA, FERPA, and Compliance

ConductSpeech does not currently hold HIPAA BAA or FERPA certification. We follow standard security practices (encryption in transit via TLS, role-based access, no data sharing or selling), but we do not make compliance attestations at this stage.

Data Retention

• Audio files — deleted after transcription completes unless you explicitly save the session.
• Saved sessions — retained in your account until you delete them.
• Account data — email address and usage metadata, retained while your account is active.

Your Data, Your Control

We do not sell, share, or use your data to train external models. You can delete individual sessions or request full account deletion at any time by emailing info@conductscience.com.
